2020 was a beautiful, warm vintage that cooled perfectly at harvest, creating wines that are both full-flavoured and balanced by fresh acidity. A nose of peach, pear and honeydew is immediately subsumed by lemon meringue, crème fraiche and graham cracker. The palate drives forward lemon curd, honeysuckle and hazelnut with a slight flinty, wet stone background that leads to an unusually rich and weighty mid-palate. There is a lovely sweep of acidity that brings the wine around to an incredibly long, complex finish. This wine will age well for the next 5-8 years. Enjoy with brie, fish, or lemon-roasted chicken.
