Winemaker Kelly Mason has made her name in Niagara behind labels like Queylus and Honsberger Estate. Now, she's set out on her own, producing limited edition single-estate wines from her own vineyard on the Twenty Mile Bench. Her first release sold out to the public quickly but we've managed to acquire a small allotment of this unfiltered Cab Franc, as well as her rosé.
These bottles come gift wrapped in silver foil, befitting the priceless nature of this inimitable wine.
The nose is expressive; red cherry and floral notes lead into oaky vanilla and warm baking spices. Cherry and currant continue onto the palate with a beautiful chalky note suggestive of the limestone soils under Mason Vineyard.
