Very small batch, very big red! Made in the 'ripasso' style, the grapes are partially dried to concentrate sugars. At a brawny 15% alc./vol. this is sipping wine. Even cigar wine.
On the nose; black cherry, raisin, cinnamon, tobacco, pepper, dried fig. Firm with mouthfilling, persistent flavours of dark plum, hazelnut, nutmeg, and truffle. Finishes very long with dark chocolate, cherry, and blackberry.
